We just like to have fun

The weather is finally friendly and we have been out taking advantage of it. My friend and I went to the large public mansion by our house today and let the kids run and run all over the grassy grounds. We found an empty robin's egg and rolled down a steep hill. We observed the groundskeepers preparing for Prom tomorrow. Prom here is a REAL BIG DEAL. Really big. The high schoolers all get the most extravagent dresses, rent limos, buy costume jewelry, buy boquets, have hair done... the works! I think some of them spend more on prom than I did on my wedding. The whole town shows up each year to view the promanade from the mansions grassy hills. Its really quite a show. Last year we noticed a few extra cars parked by our home, but we had not idea what was going on. So this year we are going to try to make it. We won't get much of a seat though aspeople are already putting down their lawn blankets to keep their spots. Could be interesting.
Yesterday the girls had fun with a friend's makeup at her house. Pictures were taken. They are pretty funny. All the makeup was applied by the girls to themselves. Aubrey didn't do too badly for her first time!
