O Christmas Tree

We thought that since we will be here all Christmas season, we would go get our tree the day after Thanksgiving at Santa's Forest tree farm. It was chilly, but not as chilly as it was the last couple years when we went after dark. We love this tradition!

We didn't take too long to find the perfect tree and Brian got out the saw and cut it down. We hauled it back to the lot and went inside the little house while they shook the daylights out of the tree and wrapped it up. Inside the little house, we paid for the tree and relaxed for a while with a little hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies. It is such a cosy atmosphere - it makes for happy memories for all of us!
